IBOs Generate Income from a Genealogy

What's a "genealogy?" Glad you asked! Genealogy refers to a list of IBOs and Customer-Members in a downline. All IBOs are working towards a common goal to promote the GOODLIFE USA products. A genealogy includes other IBOs you enroll to help share GOODLIFE USA products as well as additional IBOs they may enroll. It's structured like a family tree. Plus, each IBO in a genealogy enrolls as many Retail Customer-Members as they wish. Typically, the more Retail Memberships from Customers and from other IBOs in your genealogy, the better and the more profitable for you!*


Getting Paid from Your Genealogy: Intro

Everyone that joins GOODLIFE USA as an IBO and qualifies a position will be paid from the Monthly Retail Membership payments from both IBOs and Customer-Members in their 2 x 20 Shared Social Network. Each monthly membership payment generates Commissionable Value (CV). The income you can receive will be based on the overall CV volume in your genealogy.

In the example image you see yourself with two IBOs in your downline. Each one has signed up Retail Customer-Members. Juan has signed up two Customer-Members, one Gold and one Platinum. Emma has signed up ten Customer-Members, all of them Platinum.

Getting Paid from Your Genealogy: CV

Commissionable Value (CV) is any money being generated by a monthly membership payment that is going to be paid back into the genealogy.

In the example you can see that Gold Retail Memberships generate 20 CV and Platinum Retail Memberships generate 30 CV. This means Juan's Customer-Members are generating 50 CV per month, and Emma's are generating 300 CV - a total of 350 CV. You get paid out of this CV.

Getting Paid from Your Genealogy: Paylines

As a 2 x 20 Shared Social Network it doubles by two positions each payline down. This means that your first level will be 2 when full, and your second level will be full at 4, then 8, 16, 32, 64 and so on. Q: With that in mind, how many positions do you think there are in a full 2 x 20 Shared Social Network? A: OVER 2,000,000!

The 2 x 20 Shared Social Network has 20 paylines as implied by its name. This means that you can earn commissions from up to 20 levels beneath you in your genealogy. You will earn anywhere from 1% to 8% of the total Commissionable Value depending on the payline. This is shown in the image for this step. For example: if an IBO on your 3rd payline generated 300 CV at their position, and you are getting 3% then you will earn $9.00 from that position in your genealogy. If that IBO was on your 6th payline, you would receive 8% ($24.00)

Calculating CV

You earn commission from the CV generated by every monthly membership payment in your 2 x 20 Shared Social Network. That means every IBO who pays a monthly membership to access our incredible travel and lifestyle benefits, AS WELL AS every Customer-Member (not an IBO but somebody who just wants to use the great benefits of membership) generate CV and commissions to you... as long as they are in your network.

Let's use Juan and Emma, both on your 1st payline, as examples again. Juan is generating 50 CV through the Customer-Members he signed up. Using 3% for payline 1, the CV for that position comes to $1.50. Emma's Customer-Members are generating 300 CV at her position. 3% of the CV at her position comes to $9.00. Calculating the CV generated by your downline is as simple as adding up your percent of each position in your genealogy.

Enrollment Bonuses

When you enroll a new Customer-Member, or a new IBO is enrolled in your network you might be able to earn an Enrollment Bonus in the form of Retail Bonuses for Customer-Members or Quick Pay Bonuses for IBOs who have a Monthly Retail Membership. Whether you receive these bonuses and the amount you earn is based on your Retail Membership level and that of the Customer-Members and IBOs enrolling. Click to read more about Enrollment Bonuses.

These Enrollment Bonuses are paid out twice a month. Once at the beginning of the month, and once in the middle of the month.

Getting Paid in an IBO Team: Part 1

We've saved some of the more fun math for this step. On the prior page, Explanation of Network Structure, you learned about IBO Teams and how they differ from regular IBO positions. They also get paid out differently.

IBO Teams are made up of an Existing IBO and a New IBO. The commissions earned at an IBO Team position are calculated from CV just as discussed above. If the commission to be paid is $250 or less, both IBOs in the IBO Team split the commission 50/50. In this example, the commission due to the IBO Team is $25.20. Each IBO in the Team will be paid $12.60.

Getting Paid in an IBO Team: Part 2

In the last step we learned what happens to the first $250 that an IBO Team earns in a month. From $251 and up the split for each IBO in the IBO Team is weighted by the activity of each IBO.

In this example, a total of $1,331 is due to your IBO Team. $250 is immediately split 50/50 between you both leaving $1,081 to pay. Your enrollments, growth and activity is calculated and compared to your IBO Team partner's to create a percentage split. This example shows a 75/25 split. You would receive 75% of $1,081... $810.75 plus $125 (your share of the first $250) for a total of $935.75. Your IBO Team partner would receive 25% of $1,081... $270.25 plus $125 (their share of the first $250) for a total of $395.25.

Additional Income Opportunities: Legacy Tree

IBOs can earn a position in the Legacy Tree - a bonus compensation tree based on a one-world genealogy. The Legacy Tree is filled by time-stamped qualification date. This means once you enter the tree and as long as you maintain the qualification requirements your position in the Legacy Tree is locked in.

The faster you qualify and enter the Legacy Tree the better. As GOODLIFE USA grows and later IBOs enter the Legacy Tree, paylines fill under your position for an enduring source of income... thus the name "Legacy" Tree!
